I get how cookies and algorithms work resulting in targeted advertising but am spooked today.
Yesterday my niece was visiting so whilst in Sainsburys I picked up an LOL something or other, a book and an easter bag.
Anyway scrolling through the DM online ( I know but they are doing a great hatchet job on PA which I am enjoying) and I get LOL ads on my side bar.
How? I haven't googled them or bought online, haven't even spoken about them ( yes SIRI I am looking at you) so how am I know getting LOL ads unless my laptop can read my mind or see inside my shopping bags?!
