Wool pillows

I'm going to need some new pillows soon, ones I've got I bought a few years ago and are pretty cheap and cheerful and no longer comfortable.

I'm thinking about wool pillows - has anyone used them?

Want to know if they're comfortable, cool in summer/warm in winter, washable etc

I have wool pillows, having got fed up of replacing the cheap 'n' cheerful sort. They are zipped, so it's easy to wash the fabric, and the wool stuffing can be washed separately too. I took some of the wool out of mine because I like a softer pillow but it's possible to buy extra if you like a firmer one. I don't feel too cold, or too hot either.

I have one but it is lumpy and uncomfortable so I don't use. it.

Thanks all. I think after reading your experiences that even if I find them comfy I'd get annoyed with them so I might stick to wool duvets for now!
