On this narrow road the driver was too fast, too close and because of this the group of riders reacted. This resulted in one falling from their bike. The driver could have paid about £200, done a course, but didn’t accept the offer. They changed their plea from not guilty to guilty at court - admitting the offence. Personally I have no sympathy for the driver of the vehicle and the hefty fine. If he’d just slowed down none of this would have happened.

And cyclists should have insurance, warrant of fitness, and pass a test before being legally licensed to use the road networks.

Don't be so silly, I'mjustnotme. Are you unable to tell the difference between a push bike and a car? I rather suspect that, as with most people who come out with such nonsense, that you just don't want to share. You'll be going on about 'road tax' in a minute.
