So i currently have a badly sprained pinkie finger. I literally tripped and landed heavily on the door frame, bending my poor finger backwards.

It is very sore today.

Dh has had some crackers before including accidentally head butting a Hoover and giving himself a black eye Grin

I'm always doing stupid, clumsy things, but the most memorable and totally avoidable was when I was younger. I came home, picked up the post, threw it on top of the cooker (we had a tiny kitchen, but still a stupid thing to do), which had those old fashioned swirly rings. I realised the ring had somehow been left on, even though it wasn't glowing, so swiped at the post and my hand stuck to the ring! Yanked it off and took quite a lot of the skin with it. Had a lovely swirly patterned, very painful hand for a while!

More recently, DH, who mocks my clumsiness as he is very co-ordinated was doing a site inspection, spotted a bit of rebar sticking out of the ground, so he pulled hard at it, as it was stuck, and it suddenly came out and smacked him right in the corner of his eye. If it had been literally a few millimetres to one side, he would have lost his eye. It was Christmas Eve and immediately had a right shiner!

Not me - but my lovely beauty therapist broke her ankle coming down stairs to a basement treatment area she apparently slipped on some oil and did the splits coming down. I did feel 'oww' for her.

Years ago for me - walking down a steep hill to station, motorbike backfired, I jumped in the air and landed hard on my right foot. Thought for some stupid reason it was better to walk on it to help it despite getting support bandage. Returned home that night and flatmate was appalled - my foot had swelled to 6-8 times its size and had rest of week off work. When I hurt it again a few years later doctor/hospital told me I'd probably broken a bone first time as I'd broken one again this time and there's a weakness in that foot. Doctors didn't xray feet etc back then just assumed it was sprained. The pain was horrible though.
