Before I order these from Shein; has anyone seen similar in an actual shop?

A colleague was using them with her class earlier today & I like the look of them :)

I've got them in silver and although they look lovely they are an absolute bugger to get the cake out. I ended up eating the last lot of cupcakes with a spoon because of this. I thought they were foil but they were quite solid and plasticky.

They’re so lovely - but disposable cupcake cases shipped from China just to go to landfill over here is the total opposite of what we should be doing. Could you use non disposable ones? Or tin foil? I know that will look shit in comparison, and I know this post is joyless.

Oh, are they reusable? How do you get them back from the kids?

No, I don't want to use non-disposable really. I don't want more "stuff". Hard to get stuff out of is not good either though!

I'll keep looking - maybe Pinterest will have other "pretty" ideas.

According to cupsncases.co.uk/collections/baking-cups/products/cups-cases-pink-and-gold-metallic-baking-cups they are made of "110gsm food grade paper". Doesn't say anything about whether they are recyclable though.

I've had the gold ones from Etsy before but no pink outers. They are ok but felt very wasteful and the experience wasn't better enough for it to be worth it.
