Experienced a sliding doors moment? If so, do you ever wish you'd taken the other path?

I mean a moment where there were two or more choices to be made and you chose one. You're right that sliding doors moments happen all the time, but in this case I mean instances where it was obvious.

Yes I was recently offered an other job with a significant payrise.
Doing the same thing, etc.

Didn't take it for one reason and another.

Sometimes think I should have taken it.

Turned down the chance to emigrate to Australia in the mid 80s. I was put off by the critters and bugs.

I sometimes wonder how my life would be now.
