Am i mad?

I have a 5 y o and an 8 y o. Beautiful girls. Happy.

But my heart will not rest.

Context: I have had 2 losses that devastated me. We work full time, not rich, no family support (immigrants).

But my heart wongg to rest and I feel like I need to decide NOW as turned 41 last week.

Have you spoken to dh? What does he say?

As a mother of 4, whose last (surprise) baby was conceived at 43 (and 3rd planned baby at 41), I don't think you are mad at all! If you and your partner are on the same page, and you feel OK without family support, then go for it! We have had minimal family support with our 4 children too, but we've managed and are happy.
