Do you think it is fair to try to pressurize friends into taking in refugees?

No, people should offer to take in if they're a hundred percent committed, being pressured into it will be shit all around included for the people they are hosting.

If it’s about the Ukrainians then pressurise them back and ask how many Nigerian Christians are they taking in as they are being slaughtered on a daily basis and no one is bothered by their plight.

Or better still ask if they are taking in any of our own homeless population which includes homeless veterans.

Well Politicians keep setting the example by doing it on TV all the time. And then when asked whether they will take in a refugee themselves they come up with all kinds of reasons why not despite having 2 or more homes.
