My Saturday night dinner...

Really couldn't be bothered with thinking about dinner tonight, dh shrugged, so I asked ds(2) what he thought I should make us all "chicken nuggets, beans and cheesy pasta"

So, thats what we had. Bizarre concoction, but everyone has eaten it.

What random dinners have you ended up with after asking dcs what they want?

Forget the DCs - I've just had tiger bread with lemon curd (for breakfast and for tea; for lunch I had just the bread without the lemon curd), followed by a Bounty. I've felt ill for most of the day and this was all I fancied.

Bless you @RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie hopefully you'll be feeling loads better soon!
Lemoncurd on crusty bread is one of my favourite things with a brew, so can't blame you on that choice!

Thank you! Hopefully I'll be feeling more with it tomorrow!

If I let my ds2 choose it would be cubes of cheese and an apple Grin

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 26/03/2022 21:16

Cubes of cheese and a cutted up apple sounds good.

I've just had a slice of jam and cream Victoria sponge as I'm not hungry.

Cheese and apple does sound good!
Victoria sponge with jam and cream does too really!

A bowl of cereal, some toast and maybe a bar of chocolate would be perfect!
