Is there a cheaper way of getting ultimate? I don't want to pay £10.99 a month so downgraded as thought if that worked then I could buy gold for a year which is so much cheaper. However I hadn't realised that it meant they missed out on stuff.

You could do the one month trial for £1 of Ultimate on a series of burner email addresses.

What stuff though it’s only worth having if they are actually going to be playing games on gamepass.
