Covid ping - repeated message for same exposure?

Does anyone know if you keep getting alerts for the same exposure from the covid tracing app?

I've had about 9 alerts that I was exposed on Wednesday - wondering if they keep being sent because I haven't clicked through far enough or something, or whether everyone in my train carriage was infected 😂

I can't imagine that many people in your carriage still have that app.i haven't heard anyone mention it for about 6 months!

😂didn't know anyone was still using it! Get it deleted!

I’ve had a couple of fake ones, I’ve just ignored them!

I deleted the app. I'm amazed anyone still has it. Ignore the pings and delete it.

It may be that the same person has reported several tests (PCR or LFT as a first positive and then Day 5, 6 etc LFTs to see if they can stop self isolating).
