eBay broken item

I bought a Phone for my daughter for her birthday, I’ve just given it to her today her birthday and it’s broken! How do I return it as it says there will be an option to print a return label but I don’t have a printer, am I able to just pay to return it myself or can they claim they didn’t get it back? I’m so fuming as I’ve given her a broken on her birthday

If you open a case that the item is not as described then Ebay provides the return postage. There's different options for postage there might be a print label in store option. The return that Ebay provides will be tracked and they'll help you get your refund. Any issues with the return call the Ebay customer helpline, they've been helpful to me in the past when I've called.

I don’t want to print it I really don’t have access to a printer and will be posting it at the post office so just need to know if I can pay to return it myself
