I'm sorry to start a second thread but I have a specific question! Has anybody been to the Mitsis hotels in Kos and would they recommend? I'm looking at the Mitsis Summer Palace Beach hotel and the Mitsis Norida Beach hotel, or maybe even the Mitsis Ramira Beach! Any good?

Did you book any of these ?

TokyoSushi · 11/08/2022 23:09

Yes, I booked the Family Village in the end, we're due to go quite soon! Tripadvisor seems pretty good...

My friend stayed at the family Village and really rated it, I've just booked Norida Beach for next year.

Enjoy you holiday,

@TokyoSushi looking to book this based on my other thread - did you like it? Thanks

TokyoSushi · 09/01/2023 13:51

@Remmy123 is was 'ok' - the Norida beach just down the hill was much, much nicer!

@TokyoSushi thanks so much! Just looking at the other one it looks amazing but so much more £££ 😬

TokyoSushi · 09/01/2023 14:04

Keep looking, I booked in spring last year and it was only marginally more expensive so there might be a deal to be found!

The Family Village definitely felt like the poor relation to the other hotels on complex 🙁

@TokyoSushi ah ok that's very helpful as my husband is wanting something really nice this year x

TokyoSushi · 09/01/2023 15:06

Brill, in the kindest possible sense in that case the Mitsis Family Village isn't the answer! @Remmy123

Ooooo, I'm booked to go there in May!

@TokyoSushi im looking at Mitsis Norida Beach Hotel- you say it looks good? I thought about Blue Domes but some posts says it’s a wind tunnel and restaurant was really high up on a hill and cold pools !
can you guide me where you would book if you returned. Hugely appreciated xxx

TokyoSushi · 11/08/2023 16:48

If I could afford the Blue Domes, I'd book there, it really did look lovely but I'm not sure about the wind. Otherwise, I'd be happy at the Norida Beach. It's really just a few minutes walk between the two.

However, all of the 3 hotels are quite far out of town and there's not very much at all in the local area. If you're happy to stay in your resort then great, but if you wanted to have a walk into a town then it might not be for you.

We did blue domes a few years back, not long after it first opened. I don’t recall it being particularly windy. It was a beautiful hotel, as PPs have mentioned there are lots of steps as it’s built into the side of a hill. Aesthetically was absolutely beautiful and the service, food and staff were all excellent.

@TokyoSushi Thanks for the advice . We have two under 2 . One in a sling and I guess DH will have to carry the toddler . We are after a resort hotel but I’m just a tiny bit worried it won’t be really hot enough ( 1st October ) but it’s so much cheaper then and with a 3 month old I don’t want it scorching !
Thanks for letting me know that it is quite far out . I think we just want to use the pools , eat and try and relax . But will need to chat it through with DH. What we really want is 5star or something wonderful as it is our first break for 3 years !

@WhatTheFridge thanks for input ! It sounds really lovely . I just want something which feels luxury ! As the children are both under 2 they are free so we want to splash out a great holiday before we have to pay for the children and will need to go somewhere cheaper !
