Fell on my back - what should I do?

Chasing my toddler earlier, feet went from under me on the tiled floor and i've landed square on my coccyx. Hurt at first but i can move normally. Only pain is when i tilt my head to look upwards. I'm worried about it creeping up on me though and waking up in agony tomorrow. I drive a long commute and spend a lot of time at the computer so terrified i've done myself a mischief!

Daughter has now gone to her grandma's for the afternoon but will be back around 3 and DH not home til after 5. Had planned to blitz the house but i'm just getting over Covid and i'm less than speedy.

Is there anything I should be doing to try and help myself? MIL told me to take ibuprofen and paracetamol so i've done that.

Ice it regularly. Will reduce any inflammation or bruising

Take arnica tablets

Keep moving (gently - don’t go deadlifting 100kg or climbing Everest)

Order yourself a doughnut cushion just in case, it'll make sitting much more comfortable if it does start to hurt.

sympathies OP.

keep on the ibuprofen and maintain gentle movements when and where you can with no heavy lifting or excessive twisting or bending, just gentle ranges and stretching as much as possible.

When you sleep try to keep warm, keep your neck supported and consider a pillow between the knees to support the back ( unless you have some sort of maternity pillow already in which case that would work)

fingers crossed all is fine!
