I solved Semantle #55 in 75 guesses. My first guess had a similarity of 1.33. My first word in the top 1000 was at guess #18. My penultimate guess had a similarity of 37.21 (943/1000). semantle.novalis.org/

Loads of greens before I got it, and it was still a surprise when the box popped up.

Oof that was LONG! Just 146 tries between my first green in the 600s and the answer. Thank god that’s over. I think I needed to think about 994 in a different way.

The word is a synonym of a synonym, I think.

I've got a fair few greens and highest 940. Does it relate to 833 at all in terms of context?

Thanks to @InMySpareTime for the hint and OMG, as so often, the clustering doesn't make sense to me. At least I'm out of my misery now, at guess #239, phew.
