Oh god, I really need a fairly hefty hint! Just thought “oh, that word I unbelievably haven’t tried yet must be it!” but it’s only bloody 28!

This is too much of a clue. I had no greens and got it in one guess after this one, which was definitely disappointing when I was just coming for a few hints.

Thank you so much for the clues. I got the bathroom hint that led me to antonyms then I was stuck on 996 and the other clues took me all the way! Started at 7am, succeeded at 9.35pm!

I don't know about others but I come here for a gentle nudge sometimes. But still enjoy the search for the word. Whilst it was clearly a good clue as I got there from nowhere, it took all that search away! 😅
