Progressed to 954… never had so many 20-something similarities so I’m clearly on the wrong track here!!

I solved Semantle #57 in 61 guesses. My first guess had a similarity of 11.90. My first word in the top 1000 was at guess #8. My penultimate guess had a similarity of 41.63 (898/1000). semantle.novalis.org/

I did it in 45, and incredibly enough had no greens. I had a couple of guesses with a similarity of about 29 which should be just outside the greens, and then tried an antonym of them and Bingo!! Has been the best thing about mothers day so far

This took me ages! I faffed around low greens for ages and then I went round the high greens. I feel like the high greens close to the word were much fluffier..I found myself thinking “Is it just x?”. Clues helped once I was in high greens.

I was struggling with no greens in 50 guesses and no idea where to go from my top words. I read a clue here about a 'depressing' theme and typed in a few depressing things and found it on my 4th guess. The target word was my first green.

I feel a little cheated of the excitement of working up through the low greens to higher and higher numbers though. Semantle is as much about the journey as the result.
