I solved Semantle #56 in 138 guesses. My first guess had a similarity of 2.83. My first word in the top 1000 was at guess #116. My penultimate guess had a similarity of 5.61. semantle.novalis.org/

Today was my first time playing having found this thread. I got stuck around my guesses in the 30s/low 40s which were in the range of 990, then veered off into clearly wrong, but only solved it because of this thread! Never would have got it otherwise.

Okay I can’t get past 994 and all my words are synonyms of sorts of 994. Helppppp.

@LividLaVidaLoca two 994s will get you to 977 which is as good as there.

My first go was yesterday & thought it was really hard as it took so many guesses.

119 guesses so far to get to 985 today and realise I was pretty lucky to get yesterday's in 29!

Got it in 54 goes with only 3 previous greens, the highest being 820. Judging by others’ experiences it sounds as though more high greens wouldn’t have helped me! Very pleased with today.
