How do you play Wordle? Is it an app?

Everyone seems to love it so thought I’d give it a try. Think it will just frustrate me though.

The original is now on the New York Times website. Google will find it. There are lots of copycat apps too.

Just a website. Just Google it and you will get the link. It's new York times that own it.

A work, we have all been doing the daily New York Times wordle. If you search it in Google, I believe it should be near the top. I think there are some wordle apps too.

Think of a word to start with that uses a lot of vowels. I use aeons, others use adieu. I then use a word like fruit which brings in the other vowels but also the R and T. Some people have it on the "hard" setting so that if a letter has been rejected, it can't be used in a future word.

I take the opposite approach. I start with a word with lots of consonants because once you have correctly guesses some of them, it's easier to guess the whole word.

I don't have a strategy. Just the first 5 letter word that pops into my head.

It makes it more interesting to start with a different word each day

That's what I do. Once I guessed it first time! I love it and it has rapidly become part of my morning routine. In the afternoon I do a quordle. Well try to. I can consistently get 3/4 now.

It's only every 24 hours so if you're doing one that is offering a new one every x hours or minutes it's not the original.
