Internal scan issue

I’ve just an internal scan and it was absolute agony. I’ve managed child birth without pain relief - not by choice - I’ve had these scans when I was ectopic with internal bleeding. But this was something else. Has anyone else had this?

I had one where I was in agony (& I’ve had dozens upon dozens. Pretty much every other day for a couple of weeks before egg collection for each IVF and I had 5 cycles!)

I don’t know if she was inexperienced, or just couldn’t see what she was looking for, but she was -it felt like-gouging away up there. I then had to collect a prescription from the hospital pharmacy and I was actually sat there clutching my abdomen in tears. I had transvaginal scans following that one and was fine, even years later when they were looking at my fibroids it was fine. Just painful that one time.

Well that makes me feel better. I’m still sore. And unsurprisingly my pelvic pain and the bloating - the reasons I was sent - are worse. I’ve got a feeling from her dismissive attitude towards what she could see is that I’m going to be told it’s nothing and I’m not bloated I’m just fat. Although I would love to know why my belly button has flattened.
