Does anybody know if I was to give my Landlord the required 1 months notice does it have to be on the date my rent is due?

Thank you

Depends on the exact wording of the rental agreement/lease, but it's usually in line with a rent payment period so if you pay rent on 1st of the month, serve notice in the way the rental agreement states you must on the last day of the preceding month. So 31st March if you want to move out at the end of April.

Thank you. I have looked but it does not say it just says 1 months notice, I have gone past the rent due date this month but I have found a property I am interested in. They can only hold it for 4 weeks so I’m worried I’ll miss out on it! @WeAreTheHeroes

In which case you should be able to give notice any time.
