Booking driving test tips - recent experience?

I've been trying to book a driving test every Monday morning at 8am for the last two months and there's never any tests available across London.

Does anyone have any experience of how to successfully book? Have I been told the wrong day/time?

Please don't advise me to book elsewhere in the country and use apps to get a cancellation closer as those apps no longer work - DVLA put things in place to stop them working

My DDs instructor told her Mondays at 6am... she did this and managed to book a test for August.

Thank you! My instructor had told me 8am so that's what I've been trying every time, no wonder I'm not getting anything!

I would say it's about 4am. Although I'm not in London I'd imagine it's the same everywhere. The dates are released 25 weeks in advance. It's so stressful! I was like a cat on a hot tin roof for months.

Testi definitely does still work.

I think you have to suck up a really long wait if you insist on only Monday at 8am.
The apps definitely work, my dd signed up for cancellations and gets pinged dates every day

The irony is I've got a newborn so I'm up all hours of the night already and have been setting my alarm for 8am even though that's been when I've managed to snatch a bit of sleep Blush

I'd already tried and failed my test a while back and had paid for the apps to move my date forward but they never worked for me. Maybe things are a bit better now
