So DH is a self employed builder and received a grade 2 hamstring injury about 3 weeks ago. He's unable to stand/walk properly let alone drive to work and build houses. No idea how long it will take him to recover. We have enough savings to keep ourselves afloat for a couple of months but after that ....
We've started the process of applying for UC - can anyone shed any light on what happens next? What we can expect? We're pretty clueless about the system and it's all so complicated when you google it! :/
