Revolut Card - Australia

I recently got a Revolut card to use whilst holidaying in Europe which was fab but does anyone know if they are widely accepted in Australia? I would be using for purchases only, not cash withdrawals.

I'm not getting anywhere with Revolut on their Live Chat :-(

I’m not sure about Australia but be really careful with Revolut because you have no protection for your money once you’ve transferred it into your revolut account. I can’t remember the full details but a lot of banks won’t work with them now because they aren’t regulated.

I used mine in 2020 (last place I went before lockdown!) in Aus with no problems at all

I've used mine online on an Australian shop for delivery in Australia. I just converted the amount before using it. Not sure if that's the same as using it in the country or not.

I see you can add currencies on the app so that's my plan prior to using it
