Someone has treated me to a spa treatment which is very kind and I have never done anything like this before. I can’t decide whether to have a body massage, hot stones massage or a facial. What would you recommend?

I love all of them, so there's a lot of "it depends". The facial will probably leave you with a glowy skin but no makeup, so for example, if you were going out straight away after and would want to wear makeup then I'd go for the massage. Ditto for the facial and hair. Sometimes you get a head massage with a facial so your hair is a bit messed up and needs washing. You have to read the description closely to know what they do. If it's a full body massage then obviously make sure you are comfortable with that, as I know some people find it odd the first time.

Thank you, I’m not going out after so I’m leaning towards the facial because my skin has been really bad on my face lately with lots of breakouts. But I’m worried as it’s just going to be a one off treat and not something I’m going to make a habit of, I wonder if the facial might make my face even worse in the long run by opening everything up. Is that a thing? I don’t want to make things even worse!

Hot stone massage all the way! Although it’s quite tricky to stay awake whilst they do it but I always try because otherwise I won’t fully appreciate it!

Which do you think you'll enjoy the most?
I've had hot stone massage and found it disappointing, so if probably book either the fill body or the facial instead.

Think I’d enjoy a massage. But might benefit more physically from a facial. Can’t decide!

I don’t think you’ll see results from anyone off facial, though they are nice. And you are right, it could potentially irritate your skin. Personally I say massage!

I'd pick a massage every time, I just feel they're more beneficial to me than a facial. My sister though would choose a facial so it completely depends on what you'd prefer.

If you think you would enjoy the massage, go for the massage 😍

Facials don't really bring a huge positive change to the skin anyway.
