I’ve just started taking laxido per drs advice. I was put on 4satches a day then add 2 everyday. I tried the 4 and went to the toilet, solid came out and every time after that has been orange liquid, is that normal? I’m also feeling really sick and have no appetite but I have to try eating something as I’m a type1 diabetic. I don’t know if the sickness is due to a bug my kids had or due to this medication.

I take Laxido and sometimes it can make going look a bit orange but was told this is normal. You can't build out a stomach bug though..

Just feel like crap! Have no energy and can’t go far from the toilet. I don’t know if I should stop taking Laxido while sick or just push through it?

So are you taking 4 each day then adding two more each day, so you will then be taking 6 a day, then 8, then 10? Have I misunderstood? That sounds far too much.

Were you very constipated, OP? If you were constipated high up the bowel the laxido may be bypassing the stools.
If you feel it’s too much maybe go back to the two sachets daily? See if you have a motion every day on that? What did GP say when he started you on it?

Yes started with 4 then have to add 2 everyday.
I hadn’t been properly or without being ages on the loo for awhile and not passing wind without squeezing it out, on this medicine now though I’m scared to fart lol. Gp said to try Laxido and see how it goes if it doesn’t help go to a&e.
