Crypto. Addictive?

In my opinion, do men in particular, become addicted to crypto currencies?
That may be too strong a word, addicted, in most cases.

But do they get hooked on the adrenaline or something?

Gambling/get rich quick all wrapped up in a computer package so it looks like you know what you are doing. banks are dealing with cryptocurrencies now but they have vast computing power and some smart mathematicians who can mitigate the risk

Also, websites, which make people think they know what they are doing, and can make a fast buck. In my opinion.

A big part of it is similar to gambling. Coupled with the opportunity to brag/act superior about decentralisation etc, it does seem to attract a particular kind of person.

worked with someone who was using the employers IT. he got fired. Met someone who knew about crypto but understood he could lose as well as win and the margins were getting narrower once the banks were involved. But people read how crytpo makes millionaires v.quickly and that's what people want to see.
