Remembrance gift

I'm the last year someone has come into my life who is incredibly special. It's coming up to the anniversary of the loss of a sibling. I would like to buy a small token to give on the day, and can't reallly find anything fits the bill. I don't want to girl anything too overtly "remembrance" like a candle or whatever, just something a little more subtle and thoughtful

Has anyone given anything in similar circumstances that has been well received? Any ideas or recommendations gratefully received

Mmm it's 10 years on Saturday since my husband died. I think I'd find it strange if someone bought me a gift to be honest.

Not enough info for me to agree or disagree. Age, relationship to you, how long since death of sibling.

Bad idea, I wouldn't if I were you.

I bought my mil a rosebush for her garden. She liked it and it blooms each year when her DH would have had his birthday in June.

Thanks for those who have commented. Wasn't asking if it's a good idea...I know the person and know that it is. Was just looking for ideas that have been well received by others. She may well like something for the garden, thanks for that suggestion

Personalised plant pot and seeds? You can get them on Etsy. Search bereavement/remembrance gift and there's all sorts.

I appreciated it when my friends marked the death of my DS.
