Does anyone else have to put up with teenagers making a noise in their souped up cars? As I type, all I can hear is the roar of car engines accelerating and popping and banging. They are SO loud that the noise goes right through the house, even when I have the windows closed and the music on. We live in the countryside, but all I hear from about 6:00pm until midnight is rrmmmmmmmm...pop,pop,pop, bang, bang, bang...rrrmmmmmm...just on and on all evening. I can't believe people are allowed to have engines that loud. It's so unnecessary. I have nothing against someone spending money on their car. If that's what you love, and you've worked hard for your money, then fine – enjoy. But it's not fair to disturb other people. It's going to be even worse in the summer, when I have to have the windows open at night. Sometimes, they wake me up at 2 or 3am, just racing round and round the country lanes, for hours on end.
