Alexa echo show, a question

we have had this suggested as something to buy dc (adult disabled)
can't find out anywhere about video calls, does the caller/called person also have to have one?

No they just need the alexa app 🙂

We use alexa app on phone / mobile to call ds, we are in same house, never tried remotely.

No. The other person just needs a smart phone with the akrxa app installed to make the call to the Echo Show.

We have 3 of them in our house and my kids video call each other across rooms sometimes, JFF!
