Passport issue

So last Monday I sent off my households old passports as all had expired. I had done an online application so was sending them off so they could start.
I wasn't going to pay special delivery but was recommended so paid for it and got the tracking numbers.
All passports had to go to different passport offices so I wrote all correct addresses on for each passport.

I received a text message Friday to say one had been received. Still no info on the others.

Today I found out the receipt and all the passports have been delivered and signed, last TUESDAY.

Now I'm in panic mode because I've had no info that the other have been received only one has. But also two passports went to the same place, same signature for it but all had different addresses on the front. So not sure how that happened?

Sorry if this seems rambling but I just want to know if anyone has gone through the same?
As you know it's a lot to renew passports then sending special delivery for the old one I just didn't think there would be a problem.

Good thing is we aren't waiting on them for a holiday but need them for later on in the year.

Sorry I just checked tracking again and all have been delivered to the separate offices.
I had put in the same tracking number for two and thought it was the other passport lol.
So all been delivered and signed but only one been accepted at the moment.

Normal. They are just in the waiting pile. Mine were delivered on a Saturday, processed on thursday/friday

Try again! Tracking said the old passport was delivered but the passport office took a while to catch up.

The old passports.

Same. We sent all passports for renewal to various offices. Took ages from the 'signed for' date to getting them processed. Try not to worry. Various offices have varying numbers to process.

Yeah same here, the passport office signed for them but it was around a week before they updated the status online to say they had received them. We got our new passports back within about 3 weeks.

Normal, when we sent ours the first and only update we got was saying the new passports were on their way.

We had this too last month. Sent off 3 to 3 different addresses. One was progressed almost immediately. The other two took over a week longer. They were all processed and returned within 3 weeks though. (Pretty amazing service).

Well DH is right now on hold to the passport office because he received his old passport, and in a separate envelope someone else's old passport, and no sign of his new one! Random persons passport isn't a name even close to DHs, so who knows if that person has got DHs new one?!

Seems like it's just a delay in updating then.

Don't panic.
It's taken 1 month from sending three passports to three different offices to get all the passports back over the course of one week.
Two were posted same day, one the next day. First passport arrived last week, and last passport which was the earliest to be posted only arrived yesterday.
No original passports returned yet
