Period help

Posting here for traffic.

I'm early 20's and have been having periods since I was very young. I went on the first implant when I was a teenager and still got my periods, then had my second implant fitted and had about two altogether and they were only really light spotting towards the end of my implant running out.

I had my implant taken out beginning of December and the end of January had strong pre-menstrual cramps but no period. Then Saturday early hours out of nowhere I began a period but it is very light on a pad, when I wipe down there it is either beige or light/dark red blood but it is not heavy at all. I have been baving a belly ache but not as strong as I've had them in the past and have the moodiness you get with being on a period. I'm not pregnant and it wouldn't be possible that I am.

I'm also currently being tested for PCOS as I have all of the classic symptoms. My endo was going to force a period by putting me on progestogen if I didn't have one soon. I'm still thinking to try the progestogen pill to see if it will give me a proper period like the ones I used to have.

I'm a bit stressed as I'm used to having my periods on time and they always have been heavier than this, this is as I said completely different with light spotting and is very different to all the periods I had since I started them.... I'm worried/wondering what's going on and if it's my implant (although being out perhaps still being in my system 3 months on) and/or the potential PCOS. Sorry for the TMI and rambling, I'm wondering what's going on and am a worrier, I'm wondering if others have had their implant taken out and had lighter periods that were irregular or even found that they got lighter periods when being diagnosed with PCOS.
