Ordering lateral flow tests online

I know from the end of March they are no longer free, but I've tried to order a pack yesterday and today online, and the message is that there are none available. We're only halfway through March! Anyone else had same problem?

Yes, I've just had the same problem "no slots available" so I don't know if the issue is availability of kits or ability to ship them out. Assume it's short terms ish and they haven't totally stopped just yet! (Or hope not!!)

Purplecatshopaholic · 14/03/2022 12:15

I just ordered and got some delivered (Scotland).

Yellow85 · 14/03/2022 12:15

I just ordered some about 5 minutes ago with no problem.

HopefulProcrastinator · 14/03/2022 12:19

I think it's more to do with you being in England than them not being available. England covid rules are basically non-existent now. Life getting "back to normal" and all that jazz.

I've ordered some fine this morning, but we're in Wales and we have formal restrictions (mask wearing and self isolation) until at least 28th March and the next review. I know Scotland and NI still have restrictions too (but not sure what they are).

Neolara · 14/03/2022 12:22

I'm in England and ordered some this morning without problems. Maybe try again later?

pigletsbiggestfan · 14/03/2022 12:36

This often happens. Try again later or tomorrow morning.

Hbh17 · 14/03/2022 12:39

Just don't bother. Nobody needs them, we all just need to stop testing!

JosephineDeBeauharnais · 14/03/2022 12:40

I’ve just tried and can’t get any at the moment.

BluTangClan · 14/03/2022 13:46

I tried to order some yesterday, got the message there were no delivery slots available.
My son has COVID and needs to have 2 negative tests before he can go back to school. I'll try and get some from the local chemist.

megletthesecond · 14/03/2022 13:50

I'm getting the message there are 'no home delivery slots left', Hampshire.

That's all well and good but some events are still requiring a LFT test for entry. I'm attending such an event this week.

So you wouldn't do one if you were going to see a friend on chemo or with no immune system? Hmm
cakeorwine · 14/03/2022 14:06

None left
So how do people show 2 negative tests to get back if they can't get tests.
Covid is going up.
PCR tests are expensive and not needed as much as they are. Covid tests should really be kept for a while longer.

ilovesooty · 14/03/2022 14:15

There were no slots available for delivery yesterday afternoon. I refreshed the page successfully in the evening. Just keep trying.

I'm still testing to meet clients in my office and before meeting up with groups of people or with anyone I know to be vulnerable and will do while I still have tests to do it.

Clawdy · 14/03/2022 19:26

Yes, I'll keep trying, thanks.

I had some delivered today

You clearly don't have anyone who is hugely vulnerable in your life or you wouldn't make such a stupid statement (I hope)
IroningBoardz · 14/03/2022 19:49

It often says this. You just have to keep trying.

Clawdy · 14/03/2022 21:24

Yes! Order went through at last! It was worth another try. Thanks everyone.
