I'm working F/T now and exhausted when I get home. But house looks pretty grubby especially when the sun streams through!
I don't have the time to dedicate a full day/weekend to cleaning and tbh, I can barely keep on top of laundry/dishwasher/dyson handheld spot hoovering/toilet cleaning at the moment.
So, I'm going to set a plan for the next week, just to do an extra job every night:
Today I swept cobwebs from all the ceilings and then did a "proper" Henry hoover.
Monday - clean all mirrors
Tuesday - clean all doors and frames
Wednesday - clean all kitchen cupboards on outside
Thursday - clean all skirting boards (dreading that one!)
Friday - clean all light switches (easy one for end of week)
Saturday - empty out kitchen cupboards, declutter and clean inside
Sunday - clean the inside of all windows
Sounds like a plan? Anyone done it like this - i.e. one task everywhere? I would usually attack one room at a time but somehow breaking it down to one task at a time seems to make it less daunting to me.
Anything else I should do? I won't be changing/washing curtains - had a horrible mishap once in the washing machine and I can't afford a huge dry cleaning bill right now!
