3 week quick weightloss

Need to lose weight in 3 weeks.
Going to a wedding on the 9th.Got a gym membership but haven't been for a while.What food/exercise is the most effective for such a short time period? I'm.so pissed off I've left it this late.

Have you got a specific outfit you absolutely have to fit into? If not I’d just find something lovely that suits you where you are right now.

I’d be eating healthily and doing some sort of exercise you enjoy. That will give you a bit of a glow.

You could lose a lot of water over the next 3 weeks but nothing meaningful in terms of fat. strict low carb, no snacking, drink loads of water, no caffeine, alcohol or anything with artificial sweeteners.

It’s not popular but honestly I’d just aim to be very hungry and when it gets too annoying tip a large mug of tea on it and maybe some fruit, eat a small meal of nothing that you had to think too much about like a small buttered jacket and some salad items, get food off of your mind and get used to the feeling of hunger which btw will pass and come less often when your stomach shrinks on the inside. Go for a walk when you are bored, walk to a shop two miles away and treat yourself to a Diet Coke when you get there!
Focusing on what you can eat just makes you think about food. When you plateau eat normally for a couple of days and then go back to it sharply. I’ve never lost weight slowly and sensibly only ever fast and I’ve never gained rapidly after, only ever after years of not caring. I needed to lose weight twice in my life once after pregnancy and once after a very long spell as a single parent with no childcare and no incentive to look nice because I was never going anywhere. It’s not true that rapid weight loss always leads to rapid gain, just remember the need for maintenance when you do feel good about yourself to stay that way.

If you're desperate try the Cambridge diet you can lose half a stone in a week but you'll be eating next to nothing and once you stop the weight will come back

Eat only sweet potatoe with vegetables and either a small portion of chicken or fish for dinner. No more food before bed
Soup for lunch
Porridge or weetabix with skimmed milk for breakfast
Snack on rice cakes or carrots only

Exactly this.

Don’t set an unhealthy pattern of starving yourself to drop weight quickly. You’ll be storing up problems for the future.

It’s vegan, no sugar, no flour, no oil - so you have do be able to cook but colleagues & I have done it and it works

You can probably google reviews to get the guidelines, it’s probably about 1300 cals a day whole food plant based

If you eat in that way and drink loads of water you WILL lose weight. If you don’t eat to eat vegan I believe subbing lean meat/fish/seafood for some of the vegan food would not be an issue from weighloss perspective (but not ok to have dairy or minimal amounts of fat free)

Clean eating, no food after 6, gym 3-5x a week incl weights & an hour plus walk a day is what I would do

Because your body reacts to the sweet flavour in the same way as it does for sugar. Releases insulin which leads to insulin resistance and weight gain.

The vast majority of overweight women are addicted to Diet Coke. There’s a reason those two things go hand in hand.

Try the James Duncan diet - it's a bit of an internet myth as it's only called that as it's the name the man who put it on his blog when he did it -he didn't invent the diet! Sometimes called the chemical or egg and grapefruit diet.

I lost a 10lb in a week. You only do it for a week though then 3 weeks normal then the plan again. It's easy ( no complicated foods) and I wasn't starving and it reset my appetite. If I was starving I'd have a boiled egg.

Then I did strict 800 cals for three days each week and 150" on the other.

I'm weighed every day. I use Nutracheck to count calories it's a paid for app and is great.

Maybe an "unhealthy" way to lose weight but I don't have an eating disorder and need to lose weight for an IVF referral. I lost 2.5 stones. Started with this. Good luck!

People aren't fat because they have food/drinks with artificial sweetener, they are fat because they eat too much. This time 2 years ago I was 7 stone overweight, I switched fat Coke for Diet Coke when I started dieting and it had no adverse effects, didn't make me eat more or gain weight
