Non Molestation Order

Has anyone ever taken out a non molestation without using a solicitor? I’ve been quoted £3000 for a solicitor to deal with it but I can’t afford that. I’ve looked at the form but I don’t have all the details required for the person I want to put the order on. It’s against an adult who is acting inappropriately to my child. The police have been informed and said I need to take the order out.

I got a non mol without a solicitor. I took the paperwork to the court and was seen that day.
What information have you got about the person?
I think I only needed their name and address.
Court were really helpful with their advice.

I agree, go to the court with the paperwork and ask for an emergency hearing for that day. It really shouldn't cost that much.

You would probably be better posting in legal for this.

In my experience the process was quite detailed and I needed police reports and evidence before it was granted.

I'm not sure if you are able to get one because you say someone has acted inappropriatly around your child (not disbelieving you at all, but the courts need evidence ime).
