I'll start:

  1. Suck it up, buttercup. It's stupid
  2. Grow up - it's so patronising and is usually used when someone simply disagrees with a perfectly valid opinion

This too shall pass.

Hideous phrase which I imagine the person saying or writing it feels unbelievably smug at their imparting of what they believe is great.l wisdom.

It doesn’t help the person who is suffering to know that maybe one day they will feel better or the problem will have gone away some time in the distant future. they want their suffering to end at this moment in time.

I feel that some people use it on here feeling that they alone have resolved the issue.

Oh and also "everything happens for a reason" what absolute bollocks. Things happen because life can sometimes be randomly beautiful and lucky and things happen because sometimes life can be shit!
