Hello. I have an interview next Thurs on Teams as an Admin Support Assistant at a local primary school. I would love the job as I’m sure everyone applying would. Is anyone in this role/had an interview in this role that could give me an idea of some questions likely asked. Thank you. I have 15 years in childcare and been a stay at home mum for5 years. I’m excited for the interview but want to be well prepared as I’m sure on the day I will be nervous.

"What made you apply for this job?" is the classic first question, but I've definitely fluffed it slightly before!

"This job requires answering a range of queries from all directions (eg parents/teachers asking something in person, the phone is ringing, you know the emails are piling up). How would you prioritise them?" I'd expect something along those lines.

And think of some good examples of admin tasks, prioritising, team work etc beforehand, so you don't have the moment of panic when they ask where you can't think of anything. Good luck!
