Nursing strike

Hi all, so my exclusively breastfed baby boy just turned 4 months old. Over the last 3 weeks however he has been on a nursing strike, he will not feed when awake, I will have to get him in a sleepy/ semi sleepy state for him to nurse in pitch dark ( that's the only time he feeds). I am getting tired of doing this now, he has been drooling quite a bit but no teeth in sight. We have tried bottle feeding him breastmilk and formula he has rejected that as well. Is this going to end ever?

Hang in there mama. It’s a long nursing strike but it will end. Reach out for professional support if you get worried about little ones wee/poo frequency reducing.

I broke a nursing strike by a day skin to skin in a baby wrap and dancing around trying to latch on the move. Good luck… it sounds like it’s tough going but you’re doing great
