Piles

I was just wondering if anyone else has suffered with piles 7 months after a c section? I did carry a heavy baby (over 10lbs) and wondered if the piles could still be related to that?

I still have them after my c-section (although I think I got them through pregnancy) my son is 16 months

Thank you, feel a bit re-assured now! If you don’t mind me asking did you go the Doctors with them and did they give you anything, I’ve spoken to them once but they weren’t much help

No I tried going doctor but they only give you something if it's sore and painful, I was told to push them back up

Get some witch hazel gel from savers or Superdrug. Put a blob on after bathing and a bowel movement. It's stings for a few secs but shrinks them back far better than any thing like germsaloids etc.

Eat plenty of fruit fibre to help and don't strain on the loo.

Flushable Moist loo paper helps too

Miserable things.
