Old Kindle

Has anyone ever done anything remotely useful with their old Kindle? It's the very original kindle - nothing fancy and the simplest of models.

Do Amazon accept these gadgets back for credit exchange or something? Thanks.

yes you can save 20% off a new one. I did it with my old one and also got £5 gift card and mine was completely smashed. Go to buy a new one and there's a button that says "save 20% with trade in". click that and they send you either a label or a box (can't remember sorry but it's all prepaid) and you send your old one off. They automatically take the 20% off so you can buy a new one straight away without having to wait for them to receive the old one. I assume if you didn't send it for whatever reason they'd take the different off your card but it explains it all to you.
