Interested in the Qatar plane that seems massively off course - currently right over the Crimea with so right in Ukrainian air space. Odd.

Yes that seems very odd - what is going on there? It looks like it's about to fly right over Western Ukrainian airspace.

When I spotted it about 7k we're tracking, now nearly 22k!
The placement of just seems so weird as that entire, vast area has had nothing flying in it since the invasion.

Doesn't a dashed line mean estimated flight path. So showing its usual flight path even though it probably isn't on it. It's if it goes out of range for some reason....

Looks totally normal to me. Lots of people will be watching that because it's a retro livery. FR doesn't know the planned flight path, anything ahead of an aircraft is based on guesswork and previous flights.

Ah it's literally just jumped to northern Turkey!

My husband is a plane watcher, and he wonders if it’s either a repatriation flight, or simply a glitch with FR (it happens sometimes, apparently).

It probably wasn't tracking properly before and was showing its estimated flight path like PP said.

Ah, drama over. I can go have a shower now.
