RIP aunt Mabel.....

My DS is 21 soon and we still talk fondly of her.

My now 19 year old granddaughter used to love Auntie Mabel when she was 2.
I also remember her in Open All Hours

Nooooooo!!!

We still remember the one where she went to a toothpaste factory to see how they got three different colours into the tub.
It was a great programme.

We (me, son 20, daughter 18) loved Come Outside. Particularly remember one where Aunty Mabel followed a letter all the way through the postal system from start to finish.

I loved watching Aunt Mabel with my children - gentle, interesting and fun. My kids were always hugely disappointed that we didn't have a spotty plane to gad about in...
