Yes it's a very distinctive smell which I love almost like just hoovered carpets but more intense. Just been to London since covid and I really missed that smell

Ooh brilliant thread! I've come over all Proustian. For me, garage smell (dad was a mechanical engineer), portable gas fire, stables, saddle soap, puppy milky smell, wood fire.
