Bloody wasps

Just spent ages trying to get a wasp out of the house after my two cats were going mental trying to get it! I can’t remember them being around this early in the year! Huge thing it was ! Eventually after a lot of chasing it is no more

I assumed this must have been related to an ad or something with it being on site stuff!

All wasps present in March are Queens, they are fertile females. The other two forms of wasp that are present only in late Spring, Summer and Autumn are workers

Although there is a bee that is very wasp like, Ivy bee -in this pic. They are active from March.
