Tip Culture

The tipping culture has really changed! I was listening on the radio that more people don't tip in restaurants because a lot is done electronically at tables.
I was chatting to my DD BF who does take away delivery driving and he got £2 in 2 weeks! My DD got 41p in a month as her share of tips in a busy bar!!!

Who do you tip?

I always tip take away delivery drivers, waiters, taxi drivers
I don't really tip at the bar or beauticians any more

As well as lack of cash making it inconvenient, many people in other jobs on similar wages who don't get tipped probably don't see why they should tip someone for meeting the basic requirement of their job.

But a friend of mine works in a betting shop and people who have a good win often tip them. The money is collected up and shared at Christmas, they tend to get a few hundred pounds each.
