Anyone had arrested embryos during ivf?

Hi all, just had first round of ivf and out of 12 eggs got 11 mature and 7 fertilised via icsi, however only one made it to d5 blastocyst the others stopped at day 3 and 4. This cycle also didn't work. Has anyone and the same and told what caused embryos to stop growing?

There is actually a variety of reasons for the embryos to stop growing, what did your specialist embryologist say about that? Did they test them? What did the embryoscope's data analysis say?

We don't see ivf consultant until 29th, don't know if they tested them, not sure what questions to ask.whats the embryoscope ? All I know is its on time capture video feed, woman from lab on day of transfer didn't say anything about them other than when they stopped and its quite common, possibly as I was on my own due to miscommunication and upset.

Hi @kerrym87 I am now in the same situation as you were, did you do another IVF round? did you have any success in making them into blastocysts?
