So aRussian business man has said he will pay $1 million for Putin to be arrested for war crimes,
Can’t see that happening. How would they get to him?

I'll throw in £50.

BarrowInFurnessRailwayStation · 04/03/2022 22:53

I think there should be a global crowdfunder for anyone who manages to assassinate him. They'd raise billions 😃

Dodie66 · 04/03/2022 23:51

I bet there would be a lot of donations

Add a tenner from me.

Thoosa · 04/03/2022 23:54

The people immediately around him can get to him.

I’m hoping the “Dead or Alive” bit is implied.

Quite. Can you imagine how grateful the world would be? Like assassinating Hitler. I wonder how they’d wangle it to let him or her off, legally speaking?
Pedallleur · 05/03/2022 08:37

A million? Putin would pay 10 million for the guys head just to make a point. But doesn't need to. Some nerve agent or polonium makes the point nicely. Also, it doesn't represent a diplomatic solution. It would be open season on world leaders.

Marmelace · 05/03/2022 08:38

I've got 70p atm

Alrightqueenie · 05/03/2022 08:43

I'll throw in the £25 I won on the premium bonds last month!

jytdtysrht · 05/03/2022 08:48

A million is ridiculously cheap to off someone who has the potential to ruin the world. And has ridiculous amounts of protection. Make it 100 million and you could get someone close to do it.

Jux · 05/03/2022 08:51

I'd pay £10million if I had it and I'm just trying to think of a world leader I'd actually miss. Er, maybe New Zealand's PM? Can't think of another atm.

Let's have open season on world leaders then. Worth it to get rid of Putin, and if Trump somehow gets caught up in the net, well hey, we don't seem to worry too much when that happens to dolphins and sharks and other fishy species, so let's not worry too much about Trump either.

Scraggythang · 05/03/2022 09:08

Anyone within the circle able to get near Putin would scoff at a million pounds.

NiLunNiLautre · 05/03/2022 09:11

Thats really not enough, is it?

JMAngel1 · 05/03/2022 09:11

Shame on Facebook for taking it down - all bets are off when it comes to Putin.

GeneLovesJezebel · 05/03/2022 09:13

Whoever killed him would be sacrificing their own life too.
And I suppose you then have to ask if the person taking over would be any better.

SirChenjins · 05/03/2022 09:15

One million is nothing - it would need to be far more than that. Someone would do it for the right price though.

ZippyZap · 05/03/2022 09:16

Can we start a gofund me, I'll throw £50 in

dfendyr · 05/03/2022 09:16

Who would replace him?

Another power hungry arsehole

Amnotamug · 05/03/2022 09:19

Make it a billion…money talks in Russia!!

megletthesecond · 05/03/2022 09:21

Surely that businessman is now at risk from Putin?

BettyOBarley · 05/03/2022 09:24

I bet that business man "disappears" before too much longer.....

Pedallleur · 05/03/2022 14:59

He might just get very ill. World leaders don't have each other killed. It would set a precedent.

BarrowInFurnessRailwayStation · 05/03/2022 15:02

It would set a precedent not to have dictators as leaders.
