A(not her) bed sheets one.

Let me start by saying we change our own sheets weekly and of course I would normally change them between guests.

However, an adult DC and their partner have jobs where they travel around a lot. If they are in the area they are welcome to call in and there is always a bed if needed. So, DC stayed on Wednesday night, I haven't had time to strip the bed. Partner has asked to stay tomorrow night. I'm going to leave the same sheets on, they live together, sleep together and really won't care.

My neighbour says she would change the sheets anyway. Please tell me that you wouldn't.

No what's the point?

KylieCharlene · 04/03/2022 19:55

I would

JangolinaPitt · 04/03/2022 19:55

No way -ridiculous. But am curious as to how the convo happened with the neighbour Grin

KylieCharlene · 04/03/2022 19:56

Sorry, I thought you meant they were siblingsBlush

FourChimneys · 04/03/2022 20:03

JangolinaPitt yes, it sounds a bit bizarre but we get on very well. I mentioned that the partner would be here (it slightly impacts on parking in the road) and said something like well at least I don't need to change the sheets. She won't judge, she is lovely really.

No, you don't need to change the sheets. They would both share a bed if they came together, right?

ClariceQuiff · 04/03/2022 20:19

No, I wouldn't.

You're doing them a favour so if they want the bedding changed, it would be reasonable to expect them to do it themselves.

FourChimneys · 04/03/2022 21:01

MaizeAmaze yes, exactly, they have done that many times.

FourChimneys · 04/03/2022 21:04

ClariceQuiff they really won't care at all and do offer to strip the bed.

The only people that stay in spare bed are my daughter (maybe 3 times a year) and my sister (2 or 3 times a year). Unless anyone else stays over, which is rare, the sheets get washed once a year.

I stay at my daughters 4 or 5 times a year and a close friend of hers stays about the same, maybe a bit more. Sheets are washed about every 6 or 7 uses. Neither I nor her friend have any problem with this. Again, if anyone else stays, they do get changed.

eddiemairswife · 04/03/2022 21:55

Change the pillow cases.

DramaAlpaca · 04/03/2022 21:58

I wouldn't bother.

StarlightLady · 05/03/2022 07:08

I certainly wouldn’t. And l wouldn’t expect anyone else to either.

GeneLovesJezebel · 05/03/2022 07:19

No.
