Apparently an application was rejected so they've sent me a non medically underwritten one to look at?
What does this mean?
Is this different to life insurance?
What is the difference?
I couldn't get through to them today to discuss

I would ask to see any medical reports or notes relating to your case. This will affect future policies if you don't get to the bottom of it

Oh why?
I'm not planning on taking out future life insurances?
I was looking at this non medically underwritten one they've sent? But didn't really know what that is/what the difference is
(They haven't had access to my actual medical records)

Life Assurance is Life Assurance. They pay out when you die. Not sure how they could quibble that?

There is obviously something in your medical records that is making them nervous and a payout more likely.

I just got confused when this was emailed

And don't understand the difference

You will pay a higher premium if it's not medically underwritten, as the company considers the likelihood of paying out life insurance on your policy is higher.

You may want to see why the first application was rejected in the first instance however.

Ah great just confirming my fears that's I'll have an early death!

This non medically unwritten policy would it still be based on the questions I answered about my health?
